Let’s face it, it is a challenge to be highly-efficient at work and emotionally available at home at the same time.
I’ll be your sounding board and ask you some targeted questions.
By having time and space to think, the answers become clear to you.
Because I experienced the same things – and still do! The self-doubt, stress, and wanting something more out of life. When I learned to ask myself some difficult questions, a whole new world opened up. Scary but exciting.
In my twenties, I thought I’ll end up aimless for the rest of my life. I took up Communication Arts but didn’t go into advertising or broadcasting. I was a flight attendant, and a law student, I even applied for a foreign airline. I was done with medical and fixing my documents but I backed out at the last minute. I was confused; something was wrong but couldn’t figure out what. Then something finally clicked – I became a high school Speech teacher and it sparked joy for me. It felt right. Eventually, I became head of the English department. After a while, I wanted the challenge of teaching adults so I applied as a corporate trainer for the airline.
Did it stop there? No. Like many of you, I’ve gone through many transitions in life.
The most recent one stems from restlessness, pent-up energy, and a nagging question: “Is this it???”
So I started re-inventing myself through creative expression. I started a blog – from scratch. At fifty-one, I launched SimplyCarics.com, And for a non-tech person like me, that is one hell of an accomplishment! I also have a couple of Youtube videos featuring my coffee adventures haha! I even have my IG handle!
My next adventure is being my own boss – with all that entails. Meeting new people across industries, helping out more companies and individuals reach their goals. More time to visit coffee shops, taste delicious food in new restaurants, go to different cities, here and abroad.
Looking back at the twists and turns of my life, all my experiences and the people I met along the way created this strong circle of support from which I draw my wisdom, knowledge, and expertise.
I wish to be part of YOUR circle of support.
We all need to step back from time to time and see things from a different perspective.
And having a neutral sounding board like me can do that for you.
